RESOURCES

For those of you who are struggling with something that you can’t seem to resolve, writing can be a powerful tool to heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Writing helped me through the difficult process of saying farewell to an important part of my life, and work through emotional experiences that I had been too busy to deal with while I was in the military. The following list of resources were particularly useful in my journey. I have learned through personal experience and research on post-traumatic stress that unresolved trauma can have long-term effects on one’s health and relationships. There are many ways to find peace and healing, but what helped me the most was yoga, meditation, and writing. Please, know your story is valuable and you are not alone. By understanding our connection to one another, we will be able to make the world a better place.
